Our company is looking for a Plumber to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Learning to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications required by our client;
- Testing pipes by filling them with water or air and reads gauges to determine whether system is working accurately;
- Perform Emergency repairs;
- Knowledge of drain cleaning and plumbing systems;
- Install pipes, fixtures, etc;
- PVC Installation;
- Assembling and joining piping by means of threaded, chalked, wiped, soldered, brazed fused, or cemented joints;
- Planning sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and cutting pipe;
- Installing fittings and components above and in ground;
- Read and work off blueprints;
- Unloading and carrying materials to the jobsite;
- Boiler experience and bid writing experience not required, but beneficial;
- Construction plans and drawings;
- Clear sewer and/or storm drains;
- Respond to after-hours calls timely.
Requirements:
- High standard of integrity and professionalism;
- Drug free at all times;
- 4 years of plumbing experience;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Install pipes, fixtures, etc;
- Perform Emergency repairs;
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems;
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic;
- Oral and written communication skills;
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check;
- Tools of your trade;
- State of Georgia journeyman’s plumbing license;
- Personal Vehicle and valid driver’s license;
- 2+ years of residential experiencewith an approved Apprenticeship program, Journeyman’s license or Masters license;
- Consent to a motor vehicle check / background check.
