Concrete Laborer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Concrete Laborer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform wire mesh cutting duties and ensure that it is properly installed in designated places;
- Interpret blueprints and read survey stakes with a view to establish appropriate grades;
- Spread, level and smooth concrete by using rakes, shovels and trowels;
- Align, build and erect different types of concrete structures and foundations;
- Fine finish concrete surfaces by performing any number of troweling, floating and brushing activities;
- Prepare worksites for concrete footings and assemble concrete forms on specified locations;
- Bend, form, tie and install rebar as illustrated in original blueprints or plans;
- required to work outside in different weather conditons;
- general laborer grading grounds construction;
- Spread, level and smooth dirt by using rakes and shovels.
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and self-motivated;
- Perform necessary tasks in a safe manner;
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety;
- Drug free at all times;
- High standard of integrity and professionalism;
- 2-3 years experience in commercial/industrial concrete work preferred;
- Current Federal Medical Card;
- MUST have tools of the trade;
- Experience working with equipment such as: boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts;
- Reliable transportation;
- 2+ years of experience in residential/commercial/industrial concrete work;
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications,
- MUST have reliable transportation (car or truck);
- Ability to use hand and power tools;
- MUST be able to work a minimum of 40/Hrs a week.
