Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure team members are up to date and trained to perform assigned functions, including, but not limited to the areas of GMP, EHS and Quality Systems;
  • Ensure key constraints are managed and properly staffed;
  • Perform spot quality checks, 5S audits, Layered Process Audits;
  • Responsible for recruitment, development, promotion and disciplinary actions of hourly Team Members on assigned shift;
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean and neat in accordance with the Company’s 5S standards;
  • Responsible for directing activities of staff members;
  • Identifies continuous improvement opportunities to improve processes and practices;
  • Prepare employee performance evaluations;
  • Ensure manufacturing instruction set and production records reflect practice, are aligned to cGMPs/ISO and corporate standards;
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to staff in alignment with cGMP requirements, department goals and corporate quality standards;
  • Ensure staff has appropriate knowledge of processes and procedures to perform responsibilities;
  • Must be able to observe and identify potential employees issues and recommend disciplinary action as necessary;
  • There are multiple direct reports including various levels of Manufacturing Technicians;
  • Regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and stand for extended periods;
  • Partner with the Manufacturing Scheduler to ensure accuracy of and adherence to production schedules.

Requirements:

  • Climb, stoop, kneel, crouch;
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean and neat in accordance with the Company’s 5S standards;
  • 2+ years of large facility maintenance management experience;
  • Experienced in making tactical decisions on safety, process, scheduling and personnel-related issues;
  • Results driven: Collaboratively set realistic, challenging, measurable goals and timetable;
  • Basic Computer skills;
  • Minimum 3-5 years (prefer 7 + years) of experience leading direct reports or teams;
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures;
  • Ability to work on Saturdays on a rotation schedule;
  • Experienced in managing direct reports whom have leadership responsibilities;
  • Adaptability: Maintain effectiveness in continually changing work environment;
  • 3+ years experience with enterprise wide manufacturing systems;
  • 7-10 years of experience in a cGMPs/ISO environment. Strong understanding of cGMPs/ISO;
  • Highly developed presentation skills;
