Culinary Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Culinary Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and clean field kitchen equipment;
- Perform preventive maintenance on garrison and field kitchen equipment;
- Bake, fry, braise, boil, simmer, steam and sauté as prescribed by Army recipes;
- Receive and store food items from suppliers;
- Ensure food protection and sanitation measures are followed both in the field and in the garrison;
- Garnish food items;
- Perform preventive maintenance on garrison and field kitchen equipment to keep the kitchen running and soldiers fed;
- Perform general housekeeping duties;
- Set up serving lines.
Requirements:
- Food and supply ordering;
- Preparation and cooking of various foodstuffs and bakery products;
- Storage of meats, poultry and other perishable items;
- Standard and dietetic menus and recipes.
