Our company is looking for a Food Prep to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Weigh and measure ingredients to be used;
  • Demonstrating a complete understanding of menu items and order process and explaining them to guests accurately;
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area;
  • Work at a fast pace;
  • Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage;
  • Making sandwiches and salads;
  • Prepare a variety of foods according to customers’ orders or supervisors’ instructions, following approved procedures;
  • making biscuits;
  • Assist in taking customers orders;
  • clean and sanitized after cutting raw chicken;
  • Serve food;
  • Cook & clean foods;
  • Cut, wash, brine, marinate whole chickens, chicken breast, wings;
  • prep produce for salads;
  • Maintain clean, food-safe dish and prep stations throughout shift.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils;
  • Experience working in BOH position;
  • Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally;
  • Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction;
  • Must be 18 years or older;
  • Proven reliable transportation;
  • Great personality and demeanor, honest and trustworthy;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on your feet for several hours;
  • Friendly customer service attitude;
  • California Food Handler’s Certificate;
