Our company is looking for a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately calculate and record weight gain/loss and fluid intake/output;
  • Perform routine care rounds on each assigned resident, at minimum, every two hours (or more frequently as indicated);
  • Remind clients to take medication at the appropriate time;
  • Examine patient for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds;
  • Observe and report changes in client’s condition to the Agency Director or Service Coordinator;
  • Assist client with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring);
  • Observe and report any changes in client’s condition;
  • Provide routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation;
  • Follow a care plan for the client and report on completed tasks;
  • Performs resident care according to policy/procedure & standards as delegated by the NM, CC, RN, or Charge Nurse;
  • Demonstrates understanding of role limitations relating to patient care;
  • Assists in maintaining a clean & safe environment for the resident, visitors, & other staff;
  • Provide a caring and nurturing environment in which each resident feels comfortable, safe and important;
  • Assist resident as directed for proper welcome and check- in upon admission;
  • Completes and records temperature, pulse and respirations, weigh and measure residents, perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures.

Requirements:

  • Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized;
  • Satisfactory background check and valid driver’s license;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • At least two years of home care experience is required;
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States;
  • High school diploma or GED, and one year of in-home care services experience;
  • Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job;
  • Ability to carry out directions, read and write;
  • Current Colorado CNA certification;
  • Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly;
  • Must meet Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home Health Aide training program and competency;
  • Professional Appearance;
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing or sub-acute setting;
  • Ability to focus on the task at hand;
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
