Our company is looking for a CNA/PCA to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing Companionship or sitting services;
  • Transportation to appointments/appointment management;
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation;
  • Medication reminders;
  • Assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (ADLs);
  • Perform a variety of tasks, such as dressing, feeding, bathing, and overseeing play;
  • Implement creative activities to assist with child development;
  • Supervise and interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner;
  • Create a positive and nurturing environment for children;
  • Light housekeeping duties;
  • Monitor and report any unusual incidents;
  • Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.);
  • Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation;
  • Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary;
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

Requirements:

  • Adult & Infant CPR/ AED/ First Aid Certification, Clearances & References;
  • CNA & PCA certification a PLUS;
  • Positive and patient demeanor;
  • Previous experience with childcare or other related fields;
  • Passionate about working with children;
  • Ability to build rapport with children and their parents;
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations;
  • Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends;
  • Take pride in providing high quality care;
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year);
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards;
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner;
  • High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver;
  • Supportive and compassionate;
  • Reliable transportation every single day.
