Our company is looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement measures to assist patients in regaining and sustaining physiologic endurance to include serving in the first assisting role;
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals and monitoring the effectiveness of all interventions;
  • Function autonomously to conduct patient histories and physicals for complex critical, chronically ill, and acute patients;
  • Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines;
  • Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities to ensure the health and comfort of all patients;
  • Maintain medical records using Electronic Medical Record software;
  • Record physical findings, and formulate plans and prognosis, based on patient’s condition;
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess clinical problems and health care needs;
  • Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures;
  • Current on all immunizations;
  • Possess at least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans as necessary;
  • Prescribe or recommend medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures;
  • Refer patients to specialized health resources for treatment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass on-site credentialing;
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner;
  • Prescriptive authority;
  • 3+ years post-graduate Nurse Practitioner clinical experience required;
  • Active, non-probationary Nurse Practitioner license;
  • Current on all immunizations;
  • Possess at least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner;
  • Appropriate certification;
  • One year of experience;
  • Appropriate board certification;
  • No new grads;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience;
  • Appropriate board certification for state of Maine;
  • Must see children ages 2+
  • 2+ years of Experience.
