Our company is looking for a RN-ED, Nights to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned;
- Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the health care consumer’s health and/or situation;
- Implements, coordinates, and educates, to promote health and a safe practice environment;
- Communicates effectively in a variety of formats in all areas of practice;
- Attains knowledge and competence that reflect current nursing practice;
- Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues;
- Demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession;
- Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes;
- Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the health care consumer or the situation.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service;
- Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of hire;
- Must hold a current, valid Arizona or compact RN state license;
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows;
- Current AHA ACLS required;
- One year acute care registered nurse experience required;
- One year ED experience or critical care experience preferred;
- Must be current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Provider certified;
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred;
- Current AHA PALS required.
