Our company is looking for a ASE Certified Automotive Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Inspect finished products being processed incoming materials, parts, and assemblies, etc., for conformance to company and quality standards;
  • Upkeep and maintenance of work area;
  • Performs job in a safe manner;
  • Log processed work into VIPS (computer program) as required;
  • Understand policies, including but not limited to company safety policies;
  • Use various tools to do mechanical repairs or installations on various factory installs;
  • Inspect finished products being processed incoming materials, parts, and assemblies, etc., for conformance to company standards;
  • Meet or exceed established production standards;
  • Follow safety guidelines and attend safety meetings;
  • Log processed work into computer program or tracking system as required;
  • Keep tools maintained and secure;
  • Work with limited supervision;
  • Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition;
  • Perform routine, general maintenance and repairs in accordance with established maintenance schedules and manufaturer’s technical procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ability to interact with others effectively; work as a team; good interpersonal skills;
  • Microsoft Excel;
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds;
  • Ability to keep confidential any work documents seen or conversations heard during performance of job duties;
  • Ability to communicate diplomatically;
  • Ability to pass driver’s safety test at 80% or better;
  • Ability to adhere to strict quality standards without variance;
  • Positively represent AWC;
  • 5+ years of related experience;
  • Equipment maintenance;
  • Troubleshooting;
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Must be willing to submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test due to DOT regulations;
  • Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance on current vehicles;
  • Major OEM dealership experience a plus.
