Our company is looking for a Master Automotive Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist other technicians in performing technical activities;
  • Ability to accurately diagnose transmission problems, TCM, PCM, Solenoids, electrical issues;
  • Maintain an organized work environment;
  • Transmission Removal and Installation;
  • Continuously learn new information and techniques, including cross training of POS software;
  • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools;
  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds;
  • Drive manual transmission vehicles;
  • Efficiently navigate a computer;
  • Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head;
  • Walk/stand for the majority of the workday;
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair;
  • Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment;
  • Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians;
  • Professionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimated.

Requirements:

  • Be proficient with schematics and flowcharts;
  • ASE/INDUSTRY/AAMCO Certifications are preferred but not required (we can get you there);
  • Appropriate Diagnostic tools necessary for service performed;
  • Ability to communicate solutions to others;
  • Current driver’s license;
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Must be punctual and bring a positive attitude to work everyday;
  • Experience troubleshooting and conducting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing;
  • Minimum of 15+ years’ experience working as a professional automotive technician;
  • ASE Certification required;
  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment;
  • Appropriate Automotive Master tools necessary for service performed;
  • Hold a valid driver’s license.
