Our company is looking for a Auto Body Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Road test vehicles when necessary to ensure quality repair;
  • Perform work as outlined on repair estimates with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards;
  • Repair collision damaged vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and company standards;
  • Participate in developing a proper repair plan for each vehicle;
  • Work in harmony with the production schedule including meeting deadlines;
  • Other duties may be assigned;
  • Participates in Paint Company, ICAR, ASE, or other training programs, certifications, schools, and events;
  • Understands, stays abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc;
  • Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored;
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards;
  • Performs work outlined on repair order with efficiency, accuracy, and high quality and in accordance with dealership and insurance company policies;
  • Performs daily cleaning of all body shop areas prior to leaving for the day;
  • Immediately reports safety issues to management;
  • Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned;
  • Composite repair/bonding.

Requirements:

  • Certifications listed above or equivalent experience and eagerness to improve;
  • High school diploma or equivalent is desirable;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively;
  • Above average quality focus;
  • I-CAR or ASE Certifications are a bonus;
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment;
  • Technical or trade school training preferred;
  • High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred;
  • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills;
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance;
  • Must have own tools;
  • ASE Certifications; Damage Analysis and Estimating, Mechanical and Electrical Components, and Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair;
  • Sit, stand, walk;
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen;
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision.
