Our company is looking for a Entry Level Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Fill out follow up sticker & adhere to windshield;
  • Maintain a clean work area & ensure that customers’ vehicles are kept clean;
  • Disassemble broken or defective equipment for repair;
  • Hold or supply tools, parts, equipment, and supplies for other workers;
  • Adjust, maintain, and repair tools, equipment, and machines, and assist more skilled workers with similar tasks;
  • Perform 27 point inspection on used vehicles & pre-delivery inspection on new stock units;
  • Document & quality check work performed;
  • Transferring tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areas;
  • Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts;
  • Advises supervisor on any problems and/or potential problems discovered during maintenance of equipment;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned;
  • Makes minor adjustments on equipment by tightening loose and slack screws when necessary, using power and hand tools;
  • Handling and Moving Objects – Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things;
  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding overall “mystery shopper” center’s experience;
  • Correcting malfunctions of the automatic pinsetters.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, analyze & interpret technical procedures;
  • Current, valid driver’s license & satisfactory MVR;
  • Basic mathematical skills & reasoning ability;
  • Customer service, computer & organizational skills;
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals;
  • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 25lbs;
  • Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days);
  • Must be able to pass drug test and background check;
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English;
  • Must have either; a minimum 3 months mechanical experience or currently attending or graduated trade school.
