Truck Mechanic Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Truck Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned;
- Reviews driver vehicle inspection reports;
- Performs all preventive maintenance and repair work necessary on fleet vehicles;
- Maybe required to answer roadside calls for disabled vehicles;
- Maintains clean environment;
- Responsible for checking each truck each morning;
- Responsible for compiling the work schedule in the truck shop and complete any documentation on maintenance records.
Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age;
- Have an active driver’s license;
- Provide documentation regarding their previous employment;
- Obtain a DOT medical certification;
- Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
