Our company is looking for a Bankruptcy Legal Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting other departments when needed;
- Assisting with onsite client audits We are looking for a team member who possesses;
- File research;
- Communicating with clients via email and client website;
- File review for compliance standards;

- SCRA/PACER searches to ensure file requirements.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and the ability to collaborate well in a team;
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience;
- Requires 5 or more years of experience as a legal secretary, working in a business law practice with exposure to the bankruptcy practice area;
- Strong ability to maintain high standards, use good judgment and seek out ways to contribute and anticipate needs;
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively;
- Established understanding of bankruptcy practice specific laws, codes and rules as they relate to individuals, partnerships and corporations.
