Our company is looking for a Supply Planner to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors demand forecasts and inventory levels to identify changes and determines their effect on production plans;
  • Stock Transfer Order Utilization – Weights/Cube;
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate inventory materials with Manufacturing, Finance and Distribution teams;
  • Monitor inventory levels on a daily basis and compare with the master inventory plan;
  • Responsible to report and own plans to improve the accuracy of supply plan accuracy and outlook;
  • Responsible for communicating daily if any production issues are going to impact supply attainment for the week;
  • Prepares, submits, and may explain periodic reports on areas of responsibility (such as detailed cost analysis, plans, and project results);
  • Responsible for executing the safety stock requirements as outlined within the supply plan;
  • Lead x-functional meetings between Sales & CS to manage Supply Review after peak-PO placement period;
  • Analyzes quotations received, and schedules delivery of products, materials, and/or components;
  • Update and present monthly forecast and production targets/actuals to executive team;
  • Build and maintain forecast sheet on FTP site;
  • Build workbook accurately and on time. Communicate updates and manage FTP site;
  • Communicate available and needed global inventory and move as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills;
  • Hands on experience with modeling, analysis & simulation tools;
  • Able to provide data to support & explain reasoning for decisions;
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment;
  • Three (3) years of combined experience in Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics, Customer Service, and/or Marketing;
  • Five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics, Customer Service and/or Marketing;
  • CPG Industry Experience;
  • Experience in SAP or like MRP system;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Execute the monthly supply planning cycle including the creation and updating of supply plans and identification of key supply decisions;
  • Create and maintain supply related KPIs and use as basis for supply planning improvement initiatives;
  • Ensure supply plan is inputted and maintained in relevant supply systems including SAP IBP and SAP ECC;
  • Knowledge of SAP and MRP systems;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independent of close supervision;
  • Ensure and implement control in managing raw materials and finished goods inventory to prevent losses and/or scrap.
