Business Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Business Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Take messages or fields/answers all routine and non-routine questions;
- Establish, develop, maintain, and update filing system for the department;
- Anticipate problems or concerns and proactively act to solve them;
- Purchase office supplies, equipment, and services as directed by leadership team;
- Complete market closeouts for each CCFM market per week;
- Input vendor rent payments into rent tracking database and maintaining database;
- Assist with end of year financial requirements, such as preparing tax donation letters for donors;
- Input financial entries into QuickBooks (including all market transactions, accounts payable, bank deposits, etc.);
- Assist with grant survey data entry for the Market Match token program;
- Oversee all online payable logins;
- Facilitate month end credit card statement reconciliation;
- Bring cash/check deposits to the bank once per week;
- Coordinate vendor rent reconciliation in QuickBooks at month end;
- Set new token, voucher and cash banks, as needed.
Requirements:
- Organizing and planning – develop specific goals and benchmarks to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work in a timely manner;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Initiative – proactively take on new responsibilities and challenges using good judgment to balance and maintain all projects;
- Attention to detail – careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks;
- Some college accounting coursework or pursuing a degree in accounting or business;
- Interest and belief in local food access programs to support vulnerable communities.
