Our company is looking for a Digital Media Planner to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep current on media trends;
  • Vet different partners in partner selection process to build a comprehensive media process;
  • Evaluate communication goals of potential media plans and make best recommendations;
  • Delegate to, and work with, junior team members on daily tasks in order to grow their knowledge base and expand individual management skills;
  • Gather statistics, and from these data runs, chart and identify trends to make the numbers reflect recommendations supported by metrics;
  • Confer with Associate Media Director, clients, and/or Account Services to establish media objectives and strategies for advertising campaigns;
  • Develops and designs digital media campaign concepts and strategies that are rooted in client business metrics;
  • Identifies opportunities based upon knowledge of client, media and marketplace and then delivers high-quality buys;
  • Manages media buying process from writing RFPs, negotiating proposals, and establishing tactical level recommendations that align with media strategy;
  • Provide strategic guidance to the media planning team;
  • Promote positive working relationships within the department, the company, and the vendor community;
  • Manage all facets of campaign execution by working with Assistant Media Planners;
  • Provide ideas and feedback to help continuously improve our team’s processes;
  • Assist with monthly billing process; reconcile billing discrepancies;
  • Manage, review, and analyze all client facing deliverables.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of digital agency experience with working knowledge of;
  • Understanding of online advertising and direct marketing;
  • Ability to manage day-to-day program execution with high attention to detail;
  • Knowledge and experience with relevant media tools and resources such as DoubleClick, Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, YouTube and DSPs;
  • Proficient in managing complex data set and financials;
  • At least 1 years of sophisticated digital media experience. 2+ is preferred;
  • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Ability to balance analytical and creative thought; you love telling stories through compelling imagery backed by metrics;
  • Aptitude to translate complexity into simple and intuitive communications; outstanding written and oral communications skills;
  • Advanced Excel skills, formulas, pivot tables, etc;
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field;
  • Experience in a client-facing role; can deliver recommendations and presentations with confidence backed by logic;
  • Deep understanding of media metrics, digital media testing methodology and optimization strategies;
  • Keen attention to detail; you proofread your grocery lists.twice;
  • 2+ years professional experience in digital media planning and buying.
