Our company is looking for a Leasing Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect deposit and/or fees associated with move-in;
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by Property Manager;
  • Walk the property daily, pick up garbage, and ensure the leasing route is marketable;
  • Track collection of rent payments and follow-up with partners when they are late on such rent payments;
  • Track fixtures, furniture and equipment inside the space;
  • Ready space for new tenants;
  • Meet, greet and qualify potential tenants;
  • Manage rental space;

  • Maintain critical dates schedule for tenant options and compliance with lease terms;

Requirements:

  • Sales and/or management experience in multi-family housing, hospitality, or retail industries preferred;
  • Technically savvy individual that can navigate through various social media platforms and a familiarity with Microsoft Office and Onesite;
  • A passion for helping college students find their next home;
  • Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of leasing off campus student housing apartments;
  • Thrives in ambiguity and enjoys putting processes in place;
  • Experience reading and interpreting commercial and residential leases;
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and exposure to social media;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally;
  • Extensive experience with leasing and sales;
  • Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required;
  • An Associates degree or two to three years of related experience is required;
  • Strong leadership, training, and decision making skills.
