Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedules maintenance and repair of machines used in production process to avoid downtime or delays;
  • Oversees the production process to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet customer’s needs;
  • Responsible to supervise purchasing department to the extent it impacts production ie raw material, tooling, etc…
  • Ensures appropriate production rate to reduce delivery delays;
  • Tekla ERM experience;
  • Must have computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel;
  • Report Daily to Senior Management on Floor Status, Maintain KPI’s for management review;
  • Prioritizes Safety, leads tool talks, ensures shop personnel are practicing safe use of equipment and are using PPE;
  • Assigns/ delegates shop work. Oversees that work is completed on time and per spec;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned;
  • Read and Layout of shop drawings;
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the shop, ensure that operators work within company’s human resource policies;
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy;
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive;
  • Manages and oversees the day-to-day workflow of production supervisory and engineering staff.

Requirements:

  • Prioritizes Safety, leads tool talks, ensures shop personnel are practicing safe use of equipment and are using PPE;
  • Must have computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Proficient in: Visual Management, GEMBA, 5S, RCA, Cause Mapping;
  • Proven organization skills, both in staffing and logistics within a manufacturing environment;
  • Strong leadership and motivation skills within all layers of the business;
  • MS or MBA;
  • Demonstrated project management skills;
  • SAP experience (or comparable ERP knowledge);
  • Confident communications, both written and verbal;
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, whom is Hands on;
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt certification (preferred), with solid statistical analysis and problem solving expertise.
