Our company is looking for a Sr. Operations Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures payroll integrity for direct reports and reporting teams;
  • Ensures operational excellence in all warehouse areas, related equipment, and warehouse management systems;
  • Effectively manages the budget and P&L of the operation;
  • Ensures safe operation of the warehouse including meeting company standards for sanitation, maintenance, security and housekeeping;
  • Confers with others to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functional areas such as customer service and sales;
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems;
  • Ensures the physical condition of warehouse and equipment are properly maintained;
  • Other duties as required and assigned;
  • Ensures compliance with CTPAT, ISO, AIB, and others regulatory certifications as applicable;
  • Ensures work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment are submitted to the appropriate persons;
  • Partners with engineering to implement and maintain proper layout of warehouse and product placement;
  • Leads cultural change within facilities whenever necessary;
  • Interfaces with customer to ensure satisfaction of customer requirements and requests;
  • Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations;
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public;
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form;
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills;
  • Works well independently with limited direction;
  • 2+ years leading leaders that are in frontline Team Manager roles;
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and develop leaders;
  • Ability to lead projects and drive process changes in an organization;
  • Is a self-starter, analytical, and results-oriented; able to prioritize across multiple projects;
  • Client centric approach to problem resolution – experience communicating directly with clients and setting high standards for customer experience;
  • Demonstrated success in data analysis, managing multi-discipline stakeholders, driving complex projects from conception to implementation;
  • 4-6 years of Operations management experienceu2002;
  • Ability to manage multiple business priorities and resources to meet business staffing and/or performance goals;
  • 2+ years of high volume operational management experience;
  • Previous Operational Consulting experience at a top Consulting Firm (ex. Booz, Accenture, A.T. Kearney, Deloitte, Bain) or like boutique firms.
