Marketing Operations Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Drive North American messaging optimization and best practice adoption;
- Managing direct reports;
- Run split and multivariate tests, ensuring test protocols are administered to minimize bias;
- Evaluation of digital tools, software, vendors, and other external partners/stakeholders to recommend optimal solutions for company needs;
- Management of digital paid search campaigns such as Google Ads (AdWords) and LinkedIn Sponsored Content;
- Own, measure, and iterate on full-funnel processes required to achieve lead qualification and lead velocity milestones;
- Partner with teams to develop a Center of Excellence to support strategic marketing initiatives with expert tactical execution;
- Build out workflows and integrations between Marketing Automation and CRM to evolve lead management processes;
- Design, develop and maintain core marketing operations processes to support collaboration and communication throughout the marketing and sales teams;
- Review and fine tune attribution and channel tracking;
- Additional duties and special projects as needed to support our growth;
- Support marketing testing and optimization projects across channels;
- Assist in building out overall Account and Data Strategy, and Market Segmentation (TAM);
- Build a strong relationship with Marketing to effectively build and execute programs while ensuring no data or leads are lost;
- Work directly with sales and product teams to continuously improve system performance, tools, and team efficiency.
Requirements:
- Statistical Analysis;
- Experience supporting a globally distributed stakeholder team;
- Working knowledge of HTML to make message template adjustments and articulate more complex needs to developers;
- Scripting (e.g. AMPscript, Liquid);
- B2B background required;
- Reliable, dependable, with the ability to prioritize, focus and manage time effectively;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Superior interpersonal, team-building and persuasion skills;
- Lean Data experience preferred;
- 5 – 10 years of experience;
- Strong analytical skills and experience with creating Marketing KPIs and reporting (such as lead funnel, campaign performance, and ROI);
- Strong Powerpoint skills to visually present marketing data in a meaningful way for the given audience;
- Experience working with BI teams;
- Passion for the user experience and customer success;
- Self-starter, who can get up to speed quickly;
- A hunger to spot inefficiencies and improve broken processes.
