Our company is looking for a Medical Science Liaison Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates and leads internal advisory groups and project teams;
  • Provide clinical insight to questions from academic, community and healthcare settings via presentations, group meetings and one on one situations;
  • Compile comprehensive POA to provide both need based and value added services;
  • Identifies, Engages and Maintains relationships with KOLs in academic and community settings;
  • Creates MSL strategy and adjusts accordingly;
  • Collect and interpret medical information and feedback from KOLs to internal stakeholders to define medical strategy;
  • Leverages on KOL relationships to best suit client needs;
  • Builds out MSL team. Hiring and interviewing potential candidates;
  • Identify, screen and provide scientific support to research sites;
  • Be a subject matter expert for both external and internal stakeholders;
  • Medical and Scientific POC for medical education and support for healthcare providers, payers and managed care audiences;
  • Reports directly to VP of Medical Affairs;
  • Primary liaison between client and investigators interested in developing studies aligned with medical strategy;
  • Trains and Mentors MSLs to meet company targets and goals;
  • Participate in advisory boards and assist speaker training.

Requirements:

  • Extensive Oncology experience;
  • Relevant MD/PhD;
  • 5 years as a Medical Science Liaison Director;
  • Experience in pre-launch environment.
