Property Operations Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Property Operations Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, analyzing and editing home inspection reports;
- Creating detailed plans from inspection reports to get properties ready for showings and move-in;
- Building a network of maintenance vendors, and monitor that each vendor is paid on time and is receiving enough work;
- Managing field agents to perform home inspections, and walk-throughs;
- Coordinating with tenants and maintenance vendors to schedule repairs and annual inspections;
- Hiring and managing maintenance vendors for property repairs; ensure maintenance work is completed in line with Doorstead standards;
- Managing incoming maintenance requests or emergencies.
Requirements:
- Strong desire to take ownership, and help us become a national brand;
- Comfortable using online platforms, such as Zendesk and Airtable;
- Impeccable organization, attention to detail, and ability to handle high volume and manage your own time;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Deep level of empathy and ability to connect with people from all walks of life;
- Prior experience working in project management, customer service, hospitality and/or client relations;
- Able to think critically about how our team can continually improve processes;
- Able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, constantly-changing environment;
- Ability to balance a passion for making people happy while setting expectations that will scale.
