Our company is looking for a Public Relations Account Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating team action plans and following through to ensure all goals are being met;
  • Ensuring client goals are being met and quality press is being secured on a daily basis, and providing counsel to the team if goals are not being met;
  • Representing Konnect Agency at company and client events;
  • Initiating and leading employee reviews and development plans;
  • Providing final review and recommendations for press materials;
  • Maintaining positive client relationships and ensuring client sees you as primary counsel on their account;
  • Guiding teams on development of story ideas, pitch angles and media strategies to meet client objectives;
  • Approving monthly updates for each client and sending them by the 5th of every month (at the very latest);
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key media and influencersMonitors and maintains news and other published content for assigned clients;
  • Collaborates on earned media/influencer strategies and helps create target lists for assigned clients and projects;
  • Conceptualizes, writes and distributes content for clients including thought leadership, guest columns, op-eds and other long form content;
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients;
  • Builds and maintains productive client relationships;
  • Communicates with media and influencers to sell story ideas or brand engagements;
  • Manage the PR and Communication needs for gaming portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Capable project manager across several distinct teams or large-scale projects;
  • A portfolio of work that exemplifies original ideas, expert execution and strategic communication;
  • Track-record of sustained, quality work in fast-paced environments;
  • Seasoned plan writer with a knack for translating big ideas into program objectives and priorities;
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure PR environment;
  • Experience developing key messaging and positioning statements for emerging products or companies;
  • At least 5 years of PR/media relations experience;
  • Must be accountable and not afraid to share opinions and ask questions;
  • Some travel required;
  • Understands the value of teamwork and can consistently bring innovative ideas and other solutions to the table;
  • A desire to grow with the company and contribute to agency culture;
  • Ability to develop proactive story angles;
  • Motivated to learn about the franchising industry;
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience required;
  • Creative problem solver with strong critical thinking skills.
