Salesforce Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Log and track identified system problems through to resolution;
- Possess a strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Support users across multiple organizations;
- Coordinate communication of new or altered functions within the system;
- Assist with help desk support for end users;
- Oversee and assist with the development and implementation of functional designs and features of SFDC and related internal systems;
- Plan and execute changed or new business processes within the Salesforce ecosystem;
- Manage and resolve cases reported by users;
- Share trends and analysis with key stakeholders to support business needs and initiatives;
- Drive sales process efficiency by identifying gaps, and evaluating / implementing new ideas, tools or processes;
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution;
- Using GridBuddy to streamline existing business processes;
- Monitors components of the College’s Salesforce platform;
- Provide training of users at all levels in environments ranging from 1-on-1 to medium sized (30-40) groups;
- Maintain sales territory maps for US field sales organization.
Requirements:
- Gather business requirements;
- Ability to synthesize and interpret technical data;
- Experience in Vendor or Tool Assessment Prior to Implementation;
- Experience with the Salesforce development ecosystem, including Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lighting, and Visualforce;
- Ability to create and understand technical data;
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Information Science or related field;
- Certified Salesforce Administrator preferred;
- Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via new Salesforce technology, API integrations, or other AppExchange products;
- Evaluate, implement, and administer third-party Salesforce applications;
- Bachelor’s degree with two (2) to three (3) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Desire to continue learning additional systems and platforms;
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time;
- Initiative and a pattern of self-driven decision making based on data;
- Provide ongoing support and education for Salesforce users: answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and lead education sessions.
