Our company is looking for a Senior Proposal Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the development and review of proposal strategies, themes, and solutions;
  • Partnering with the Capture Manager to integrate the win strategy and solution into a proposal structured for compliance and ease of evaluation;
  • Conducting regular proposal progress status meetings (Proposal Standup), tracking completion of action items, and maintaining the proposal schedule;
  • Leading agile proposal development of large and/or strategically important GDMS proposals;
  • Ensuring proper maintenance of proposal files and associated documents on the proposal team site;
  • Creating the proposal outline, based on proposal preparation instructions and evaluation criteria, and using it to track progress and compliance;
  • Serving as an advisor to upper management on bid and proposal (B&P) strategies;
  • Establishing and managing proposal schedules, plans, deadlines, and progress;
  • Organize and conduct proposal reviews;
  • Align strategies to proposal outline and coach authors on how to reflect these in a compliant response;
  • Assisting in developing themes and identifying discriminators;
  • Coordinate and run proposal response stand-up meetings to report status and manage team tasks and priorities;
  • Work with Sector leadership to monitor proposal budgets;
  • Developing schedules, staffing requirements, and budget estimates;
  • Ensuring that subcontractors understand their roles in the proposal and provide needed information.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of related proposal preparation experience in a government contracting environment experience;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent;
  • Knowledge and experience using Salesforce;
  • Experience with graphic design software a plus;
  • Rigorous attention to detail and excellent technical writing skills including grammar, spelling and punctuation;
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in proposal management, technical writing and responding to public sector RFPs;
  • Strong comprehension, organization, and prioritization skills required;
  • Solid time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage various competing deadlines;
  • Establish and maintain the SharePoint collaboration site for each proposal;
  • Facilitate collaborative solution development sessions and graphics workshops to develop key proposal themes and messages;
  • Lead and analyze RFI, RFQ, RFPs and other bid documents for requirements;
  • Coordinate and support the production, reproduction, binding, and packaging in finalizing the proposal submission and response processes;
  • Strong Process orientation;
  • Detail oriented with a strong results focus;
  • Ability to be the internal and external point of contact, and brief team members including management.
