Our company is looking for a Senior Superintendent to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform additional assignments at supervisor’s direction;
  • Subcontractor Coordination. Lead all aspects of subcontractor coordination to ensure progress on deliverables;
  • Ensure compliance of all project procedures, safety and quality requirements, work rules etc;
  • Job Equipment. Identify needs, manage and maintain equipment with internal team(s)e and suppliers;
  • Participate in pre-construction scheduling, logistics and planning;
  • Mentor and train field personnel and help support and develop talent;
  • Create, review and update project schedule and three week look ahead scheduling;
  • Track site/sub-partners activity, safety, deliveries, weather and other important project information on Daily Log reports;
  • Build and maintain relationships with inspectors, sub-partners, internal stakeholders and clients;
  • Ensures that each project is built per the plans, specs, building code and delivered to the client with the highest level of quality;
  • Foster the development of foreman to grow into future superintendents;
  • Effective participation in team environment;
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues;
  • Lead DPR’s injury-free environment safety program;
  • Lead a collaborative field planning process through the use of short interval planning and production tracking.

Requirements:

  • OSHA-30 certification;
  • Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures;
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Accept constructive criticism;
  • Solid computer skills, with working knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Project, Excel and Word;
  • Conscientious and flexible, with a strong work ethic and team-first attitude;
  • Track site/subcontractor activity, safety, deliveries, weather and other important project information on Daily Log reports;
  • Create and update short interval “look ahead” schedules;
  • Minimum 15 years of construction experience;
  • Proven ability to fulfill all responsibilities for multiple, complex projects;
  • Ensures that each project is built per the plans, specs, building code and delivered to the client with the highest level of quality;
  • Microsoft Office skills at an intermediate level;
  • Lead and motivate members of the project team and subcontractors to complete all phases of work within the schedule and budget;
  • Experience in managing, training and developing people.
