Our company is looking for a Site Superintendent to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner;
  • Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion;
  • Hire subcontractors and review their performance during and after their job has been completed;
  • Communicate with Project Manager on a regular basis about job sites, schedules, production and subcontractor issues;
  • Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards;
  • Visit, assess, and enforce quality control at each job site daily;
  • Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning;
  • Read, understand, and implement architect and engineer plans and revisions;
  • Communicate with project team regarding RFIs and material submittals;
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site and schedule all inspections;
  • Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites in and around the Denver, Colorado area, simultaneously;
  • Coordination of scheduling and work activities of subcontractors and contract laborers while monitoring contract compliance and company guidelines;
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein;
  • Review of all contract drawings, specifications, shop drawings and submittals for coordination of built-in-items;
  • Oversee all labor and subcontractors; check work as it is being performed to ensure it is accurate and in compliance with accepted standards.

Requirements:

  • Solution-centered, conflict, resolution and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Excellent organization and time management skills;
  • Communicate using the following tools: telephone, written logs, email, computer, digital camera;
  • Workable knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive is preferred;
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Endurance and ability to visit entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures;
  • Read blueprints;
  • Customer Service – Manage difficult or emotional customer situations;
  • Client-centered, dedication to excellence and positive attitude;
  • Strong knowledge in hotel construction with a minimum of 3 years experience;
  • Knowledgeable of Contract Drawings and Specifications;
  • Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst 30+ subcontractors and vendors;
  • OSHA-30;
  • Must be detail oriented;
  • Experience leading projects.
