Our company is looking for a VP of Finance to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the executive leadership to identify and execute actions, drive growth, and help the company achieve its long term financial goals;
  • Partner with senior C-level staff and their leadership teams and advise on all financial planning and analysis related activities;
  • utilized in order to achieve or exceed the project’s stated financial goals;
  • Serve as banking liaison managing all company loans, LOC, investments, mortgages and;
  • Interviewing, selecting, and training employees;
  • Providing for safety and security of the workplace;
  • Planning the work;
  • Ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place to protect the firm’s assets and to;
  • Manage annual 409A valuation process and provide equity management;
  • Execute various ad-hoc analyses and special projects as assigned;
  • each project on a monthly basis and advise project managers;
  • Lead annual external audit process. Prepare month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial statements, and lead month-end close activities;
  • Develop capital budgets, in collaboration with the CFO;
  • Oversees administration of purchasing policies and practices;
  • Oversee annual operating and capital budgets.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and NetSuite desired;
  • Experienced background in organizational effectiveness and operations management including implementing and designing best practices;
  • Experience leading a high-performing FP&A function, ideally with a track record of upgrading and enhancing systems, processes and reporting;
  • Strongknowledge of Microsoft Office tools esp. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Oracle, or ServiceNow;
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting, technical accounting, and reporting;
  • Excellent computer skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access);
  • High comfort level working in a diverse environment;
  • Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all areas and levels of the company;
  • Comfortable taking accountability and leading cross-functionally;
  • Embodies a client service mindset;
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Able to prioritize effectively and work independently;
  • Arena and/or Professional Sports Team experience preferred;
  • Corporate policy and governance experience;
  • Strategic thought leadership, and credibility to advise senior leadership.
