Our company is looking for a Contract Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains accurate document identification and status accounting records via various Excel logs;
  • Composes contract submittal letters and delivers to the customer along with applicable CDRLs via customer-sponsored tools/methods;
  • Ensuring appropriate Integrated Product Team (IPT) review, signature and “release” via an internally generated Product Data Management (PDM) tool;
  • Lead proposal analyses and proposal commercial evaluations; coordinate overall RFP evaluations with project clients;
  • Respond to requests for guidance from various functional departments and perform special projects to support Electric Boat business goals;
  • Cross-functional teams during contract tendering, formation, administration and negotiation;
  • Communicating with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure contract and subcontract actions are completed;
  • Track and maintain a record of contract modifications and change requests;
  • Coordinate communication efforts with suppliers, team members, company experts, and advisors (legal, risk, tax, supplier qualification, etc.);
  • Manage competitive sourcing processes and single/sole sourcing processes for major contracts;
  • Lead the contract formation and/or contract administration process for various direct and indirect material purchases;
  • Develop proposal assumptions, conditions and revisions to contract language;
  • Assist the IPPS-A program in reviewing and recording issues related to Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs);
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures, policies, the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and other regulatory requirements;
  • Focused on supporting cost savings initiative for specific category; participates in supplier performance reviews.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and communication skills;
  • Excellent experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
  • Currently have or able to obtain a secret clearance;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Contracts Analyst;
  • Bachelor’s degree;

  • Broad understanding of project execution and contracting principles, theories, and concepts;
  • Good interpersonal and motivation skills;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or a similar discipline;
  • Experienced in commercial negotiations, contractor management and contract administration;
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, Ariba Contract Management System, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Skilled in interpretation and application of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS);
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness;
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively;
  • Ability to host and/or participate in meetings.
