Senior Tableau Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Tableau Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong Tableau Developer with experience creating dashboards;
- Minimum 4+ years of experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle required;
- Build reporting & analytic dashboards that provide actionable insights and maximize business value;
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and the proven ability to understand business problems and self-identify areas of analysis and reporting;
- Strong communication, documentation and collaboration skills;
- Minimum 5+ years of Extensive experience in developing, testing, implementing, maintaining Tableau driven dashboards.
Requirements:
- Basic scripting skills (python, etc.,) to research semi-structured data. (Great to have);
- Ability to communicate with non-technical user community as well as technical project team members;
- Scripting skills to research semi-structured data;
- 2+ years using SAP/ERP manufacturing data including various BOMs;
- Tableau Desktop Certified Professional (Good to have);
- Experience preparing data for data mining;
- Independent, organized, flexible and proactive in responding to changes in business needs;
- 5+ years of hands-on Tableau development experience;
- 5+ years of hands-on SQL for data analysis;
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with data, analytics projects.
