Our company is looking for a Tableau Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work with ETL tools in an RDBMs and NoSQL environment;
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle required;
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews and QA bringing an open mind to your work and a helpful eye for others;
  • Become familiar with the existing Tableau reports and verify new reports against existing ones;
  • Conduct unit tests and develops database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues that arise;
  • Supporting report development in Tableau;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Develop ETL data flows between data sources as required to create data sets and perform analyses;
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and clients to understand and recommend activities related to analytics;
  • Understand the business needs so that you can translate open questions to solved insights that motivate our entire team to do more;
  • Developing SLA’s supporting a global interagency business workflow process;
  • Assist MSF IT director and Workers’ Compensation Business Consultant/SME in business operationalization/adoption of insights/outcomes;
  • Minimum 5+ years of Extensive experience in developing, testing, implementing, maintaining Tableau driven dashboards;
  • Providing highly technical expertise in developing reports using ServiceNow Performance Analytics;
  • Conducting statistical and predictive analysis.

Requirements:

  • Proficient experience with Tableau;
  • SVN, Github, Jira, Confluence (desired);
  • Knowledge of API connections/Integration services (Boomi);
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in similar work;
  • Data analysis (such as excel or Tableau);
  • Ability to work independently, and have the ability to learn and assimilate information quickly;
  • 1+ years of ETL experience using non coding environments or SQL (Snowflake is preferred) or other ETL tool;
  • Uses industry best practices for visualization design;
  • Applies discretion and judgment to select the appropriate data and technologies to meet business requirements;
  • Develops understanding of Shaw’s data infrastructure and data sources relevant to the supported business area;
  • Willing to take on some server and user management works;
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance;
  • Strong in SQL and knowledge in Oracle is preferred;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with different levels of business stakeholders with confidence, efficiency, authority;
  • Demonstrates ability to learn new skills and languages independently.
