Our company is looking for a Sr. Data Scientist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Use advanced machine learning techniques to predict or alert in case of failures, and recommend actions that can mitigate or resolve them;
  • Communicate findings clearly and succinctly to technical and non-technical audience;
  • Analyze large datasets in a production ready environment, using Nimble’s InfoSight platform;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned;
  • Ability to develop mathematical models and optimization algorithms;
  • Automate scoring using machine learning techniques;
  • Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms;
  • Maintaining and enhancing internal tools for data analysis;
  • Work independently and collaboratively as needed, parallel play and be able to take ownership of projects;
  • Plan, manage and execute on data science projects independently, albeit drawing upon the input and expertise from multiple stakeholders;
  • Work collaboratively as part of a self-organizing scrum team with minimal supervision;
  • Ensures completion of all critical deliverablesfrom multiple disciplines to assure timely and accurate implementation of ourcustomers’ benefit plans;
  • Assist team members and stake holders to deliver value added solutions through advanced analytics and modeling techniques;
  • Guide the development of data products used across the organization;
  • Deploy high-quality products and projects with clean code, thorough testing, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical, communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills;
  • ETL experience;
  • Python;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;
  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Engineering, Math, Finance, Computer Science, Physics;
  • Client-handling;
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy;
  • Experience with applying mathematical optimization to graph optimization problems;
  • Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green card holder);
  • Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or another technical field;
  • 5+ year experience with statistics and probability, particularly their application in systems analysis and operations research;
  • Experience with offshore teams;
  • Ability to convert data science to business services or products, and drive business decisions;
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes;
  • Expertise in Data Analytics.
