Our company is looking for a Marketing Copywriter to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the team on both internal and client-facing goals every quarter;
  • Conducting product research using internal materials, interdepartmental SMEs, and;
  • Editing and proofreading white paper, sales, and blog content is written by other team members;
  • Writing original SEO content, like meta descriptions, title tags, and photo captions;
  • Copy-editing and proofreading for others on the team;
  • Supporting the Marketing Director in other content development tasks as needed;
  • Self-managing internal deadlines;
  • Writing long-form copy for client digital marketing campaigns, including e-books, checklists, guides and blogs;
  • Writing support copy for additional web pages and marketing materials that is customer-focused, easy to understand, and helpful;
  • Generate and pitch product marketing ideas;
  • Edit and proofread copy as needed;
  • Assist with short-form copy creation for other verticals as needed;
  • Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice;
  • Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements;
  • Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages).

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Firm grasp of E-commerce best practices;
  • Basic HTML skills preferred;
  • Strong understanding of consumer motivation;
  • Self-motivation to drive tasks and projects to completion;
  • Understanding of keyword placement and other SEO techniques;
  • Superb spelling and grammar;
  • Process and procedure oriented;
  • In-depth research, analytical, and learning skills;
  • Strong portfolio showing a variety of marketing executions with an emphasis on digital;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to strike a balance between showing initiative and seeking input from others;
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field;
  • 3-5 years meaningful experience at an ad agency or in-house creative team with a strong focus on digital marketing;
  • Highly collaborative team player;
  • Detail-obsessed with a high standard for professionalism.
