Our company is looking for a Data Entry Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry into excel spreadsheet. Positions will be supervised by engineers and training and support will be provided;
  • Even though this is a data entry position, candidate must be able to navigate Excel with ease to have success in this role;
  • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered;
  • Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors;
  • Performs other duties as assigned;
  • Scanning Invoices;
  • Data entry into excel spreadsheet. Training and support will be provided;
  • Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors;
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete data;
  • Process documents in an accurate and timely manner to ensure proper insurance coverage for homeowners and client satisfaction goals;
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output;
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files;
  • Transcribes source data into the required electronic format within time limits;
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies;
  • Reviewing/updating per electronic data feed to ensure insurance coverage is up to date.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Ability to monitor deadlines and plan, coordinate and execute assignments;
  • Effective communications skills, in writing and verbally;
  • High School diploma is required. Associate Degree is a strong plus;
  • Experience in the use of computer systems;
  • 1-3 years of strong data entry experience in an office setting;
  • Must be detail oriented and have basic reading, writing, mathematical;
  • Ability to key with 99% or better overall accuracy rate and process a high volume of data in a timely manner;
  • 1-3 years of strong data entry experience in an office setting, strong preference for candidates with scanning and invoicing experience;
  • Completion of a speed and accuracy data entry test (May be required);
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information;
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time;
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
