Our company is looking for a Human Resources Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Keeping Applicant Tracking System Updated;
  • Planning out meeting, training and event logistics;
  • Coordinate Internship Recruitment activities across all Operation functions;
  • Assists with daily associate needs, including benefit and payroll inquiries;
  • Ensuring that all paperwork is complete and accurate (e.g. candidate agenda’s, applications, candidate evaluation forms and offer letters)?
  • Manages DOT program, including coordination of appointments, screenings, compliance documentation and filing;
  • Performs daily upload of documentation to associate personnel files;
  • Prepares or maintains employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using PeopleSoft;
  • Assists in preparing and maintaining associate records and handbooks;
  • Coordinates administrative aspects of training programs;
  • Collaborating with University Relations on process hand-offs;
  • Maintaining program related resources;
  • May gather data and cost analyses in support of the HR Function;
  • Answers questions via phone and from visitors regarding Altec;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of HR compliance regulations, employment laws, and industry best practices (highly desired);
  • Strong administrative and organization skills;
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, Economics, Psychology, or other Liberal Arts majors;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point;
  • Must be able to prioritize workload, multi-task and work well in a team environment;
  • Strong SharePoint skills – both site design and site administration;
  • Experience working in a high growth technology company with teams in multiple states;
  • Experience working with software delivery and support;
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an HR Administrative Assistant;
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Strong Customer Service skills for enterprise software applications, Software as a Service companies preferred;
  • Working knowledge of HR systems and processes;
  • Ability to apply judgment in making decisions or resolving issues;
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
