Marketing Intern Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Help organize marketing events;
- Preparing and revising marketing collateral;
- Data entry;
- Assist business development manager with data integrity and the reporting;
- Effectively contributes and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment;
- Supporting the coordination and production of materials, including the response to RFQ/Ps and presentation development;
- Assist in the development and presentation of sales content such as presentations, case studies, videos, email templates and demonstrations;
- Provide onsite support for marketing initiatives during race weekends;
- Collect and document detailed reports from the Field Marketing team;
- Assist the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Marketing department in all aspects of promotional, event-based marketing, and VIP Services;
- Assist with ensuring Char-Griller is taking advantage of all marketing opportunities;
- Data/Operations: Strengthen the data behind our target accounts, including quality control and data cleansing;
- Maintain and build upon a documentation archive to ensure we continually track existing tagging and update in accordance with change;
- Assist with management of event invitations to the Pagoda and other VIP locations for key events;
- Assist in cataloging marketing materials.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in digital marketing a plus;
- Must live in Atlanta area;
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
- On track for a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline;
- Capacity to work well under pressure.;
- Must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds;
- At least one previous industry internship or co-op;
- Must have reliable transportation;
- Excellent knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Suite, MS office would be helpful;
- Exposure to professional work environment with focus on customer service;
- Strong writing skills (copywriting, journalism, social copy, and more);
- Collaborative spirit, but also able to work independently;
- Current English, Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or Graphic Design Major;
- Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree;
- Must be available from May/June until August/September.
