Assembly Machine Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Assembly Machine Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpreted over standardized work / process plans;
- Understand and Maintain Production hourly boards;
- Monitor tool life, Notify supervisor / engineer of process issues and / or missed goals whens operating a machine;
- Responsible for notifying Team Leader of any and all defects detected;
- Goal oriented and driven Production;
- Train skills in principle;
- Calibrate and Master gauges and understand gauging qualification requirement;
- Wear protective equipment staff;
- Trouble-shoot and repair minor machine problems;
- Understand and PERFORM packing as Required;
- Use computer equipment to enter ” and Receives data;
- Confirm shop for order confirmation in SAP;
- Quality Assurance;
- Participate to define 5S/TPM activities;
- Report Quality issues promptly and assist in clean point creation.
Requirements:
- Completion of high school;
- Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred;
- Read, write, and speak English;
- You will need to be able to lift up to 35lbs, lifting totes of final product onto a pallet;
- Ability to work independently and safely at all times;
- Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs);
- Must have good manual dexterity;
- Hiring for 2nd & 3rd Shift;
- Clean Background Check and Clean Drug Screen;
- Basic literacy and numerical skills;
- Minimum 3 months of manufacturing assembly and/or machine operation experience preferred;
- Overtime/Time and a half;
