Our company is looking for a Cable Assembler to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to follow schematics for proper installation of components and proper soldering procedure to ensure quality of the finished product;
  • Work with small parts, using soldering irons and small hand tools;
  • Polish fiber optic components with various tools and papers;
  • Read and verify drawings/blueprints, production documentation and maintain high quality workmanship;
  • Willing to perform other tasks as may be required by management;
  • Be detail orientated, self-sufficient, and able to meet production quota in a timely manner;
  • Cut, strip, clean and inspect fiber optic cables.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of quality control principles;
  • Must be able to sit for long periods throughout the shift;
  • Must follow all safety rules, including maintaining a clean and orderly work area;
  • Must be able to properly use a soldering iron (A solder test will be required prior to employment.);
  • Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses);
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition;
  • Drug Test;
  • Must be at least 18 years old;
  • Background check;
  • 1-2 years of complex cabling, wiring assembly;
  • Stand for Shift Duration;
  • No Education Requirement.
