Lead Test Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Lead Test Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and process test data for reporting to product teams and executive leadership;
- Maintain test plans at the component and product levels;
- Assess product specifications through testing;
- Develop, validate and document test protocols;
- Build automated test fixtures for all Shark product types.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within an engineering role;
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science from an accredited university or college;
- Travel – 10% – 20%
- 3-5 years of product test or mechanical engineering experience;
- prior experience designing and building electromechanical systems;
- BSEE, BSME or similar technical discipline major;
- Ability to translate consumer use cases to repeatable test procedures;
- Analytical, problem solving, and root-cause analysis skills;
- Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively;
- Excellent oral and written communication to create reports, write business correspondence, & develop procedures;
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting;
- Effectively communicate to senior leadership;
- Change agent with energy, passion, and enthusiasm to drive change.
