Our company is looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures;
  • Receive detailed written and verbal instructions on all work;
  • Perform other tasks as needed, to complete project;
  • Operate a truck, crane, and forklift;
  • Assemble, repair, and install mechanical component parts, sub-assemblies, or completed units;
  • Work is performed in-house and at the customer’s site;
  • Entails sawing, tapping, drilling, and other mechanical tasks using hand tools, small power tools and other special equipment to complete tasks.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • May require a passport;
  • Occasional travel for machine repairs around the US;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Degree completed in relevant study or equivalent of 3-5 years or more experience in assembling and testing of mechanical and electrical components;
  • Competency in reading schematics;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to follow directions well and willing to learn;
  • Dependable and on time;
  • Ability to use hand tools (screwdriver, drill, tape measure);
  • Motivated and determined to work hard and get the job done successfully;
  • No experience required – entry level;
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
