QA Engineer II Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a QA Engineer II to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently;
- Maintains, updates and executes existing test cases;
- Works independently on small projects;
- Updates test plan and creates new test cases (all work must be reviewed by a manager or Sr. QA);
- Must be able to quickly understand and incorporate new technologies and services;
- Works on projects of moderate complexity;
- Must have good software troubleshooting skills;
- Executes documented test cases and log defects found by the test cases in TFS;
- Escalates to manager when issues arise.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated sense of ownership of completion;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
- 3+ years of industry experience in testing web applications and/or large scale enterprise products;
- Passion for troubleshooting and problem solving;
- Familiar with Agile methodology;
- Familiar with SDLC and QA principles;
- Has good overall understanding of MINDBODY applications including hands-on experience with SQL and relational database.
