Our company is looking for a QA Inspector to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Will evaluate hardware and be responsible for supporting MRB review meetings;
  • Supports sampling procedures and have understanding of Mil-Std-105;
  • Responsible for gage calibration system requirements;
  • Develops and Supports Quality inspection/control plans, First Article requirements and Final inspections forms and documents;
  • CMM experience required;
  • Performs inspection using optical comparator, CMM, surface plate, height gages, micrometers, etc;
  • Assisting with tracking projects cost and schedules;
  • Support initiatives as directed to reduce MRB and re-work requirements;
  • Determine extent of non-conformance and complete appropriate Non-conformance paperwork;
  • Follow established procedures to perform in-line checks and verification of dimensions as well as final inspection of product;
  • support continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Assuring timely and efficient communication with clients;
  • Maintaining clear, concise and comprehensive records;
  • May be required to train for or obtain certifications for specific customer requirements;
  • Work with written inspection procedures, drawings and in-process documents to perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts.

Requirements:

  • Min 1 year of experience in electronics manufacturing environment or equivalent;
  • IPC 610 Specialist training is preferred;
  • 2+ years specific experience with quality systems (ISO9001 or AS9100);
  • Experience with outside processes and material certification;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Prior experience with manufacturing engineering and quality assurance functions is preferred;
  • Electronic manufacturing background, preferably in a Medical Device Manufacturing environment;
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in quality inspection of machined parts;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • General knowledge of GD&T and basic tolerancing;
  • Data entry / typing skills;
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with inspection of critical parts;
  • Must be able to follow directions and execute tasks successfully within an assigned time frame;
  • Self-driven individuals that can work with light supervision;
  • Quick learners, ability to multi-task, adapt to a quick changing environment.
