Our company is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and document inspections;
  • Supply Quality Control Inspector data necessary for regulatory submissions;
  • Compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses;
  • Promotes a fast pace, positive and growth orientated culture of accountability;
  • Program/Operate Keyence Imaging system;
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned;
  • Interprets technical specifications, directives and relevant publications to identify potential discrepancies and deficiencies;
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned;
  • Communicate with other departments through email, telephone and face to face interaction;
  • Preparing and shipping pallets of packaged casings;
  • Produce scope of work, pricing, and labor schedules based on engineer’s narrative;
  • Assist in directing the estimating team;
  • Reconciling final inspection documentation for shipments;
  • Communicating with team member and management regarding non-conforming products and participating in the identification of root causes for defects;
  • Working with management and team members, develops process work instructions for production.

Requirements:

  • Inspect products through a microscope and visually;
  • Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing production facility is a plus;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Education: at least High School completion;
  • Computer skills required;
  • Ability to develop Commercial Documents including terms such as bonding, liquidated damages, payment terms, insurance requirements, etc;
  • Ability to use and read a ruler;
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing prints and specification requirements on an intermediate level;
  • Detail oriented;
  • A minimum of 5 years previous estimating experience, mechanical and/or electrical required;
  • Minimum of two years of college in science or business field or equivalent work experience;
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel (write reports in Word, create and use spreadsheets in Excel for analysis);
  • Oral and written communication skills;
  • Visually able to determine color, shape, and size of a part;
  • Detail oriented with excellent problem solving skills.
