Our company is looking for a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Arbitrating policy and processes around personnel, clearances, and our facilities;
  • Attendance at the NSA CSSO Course within last 5 years preferred;
  • Knowledge and experience with alarm systems and access control systems preferred;
  • Responsible for interpreting NISP/IC policies; develop and implement security plans and procedures for compliance;
  • ISWG Member Preferred;
  • Maintain all security documentation and files accurately and in accordance with requirements;
  • Maintain company CAGE Codes;
  • Subcontractors;
  • Current/Former employees;
  • Manage the Cosmic AES Insider Threat Program;
  • Develops and maintains contract DD254’s and classified holding records;
  • Fosters teamwork and collaborative efforts among security group members to ensure timely completion of group project tasks and responsibilities;
  • Responsible for security program reviews to include;
  • Formal inspections;
  • Investigates security incidents and violations and prepare reports for submittal through the Director of Security to Cognizant Security Authority.

Requirements:

  • Experience with managing closed areas and possessing facilities;
  • Experience with US Import/Export Regulations; International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR) & Export Administration Regulations (EAR);
  • Completed FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities and Insider Threat Training;
  • COMSEC, OPSEC, and SPeD certifications;
  • In-depth knowledge of NISPOM, Executive Orders, Industrial Security Letters, and DoD Directives;
  • Must hold a current DoD Top Secret Clearance;
  • Experience maintaining a program facility in accordance with ICD 705 requirements;
  • Minimum of 7 years of industrial security experience. Corporate FSO experience preferred;
  • Working knowledge of: SIMS, JPAS, e-QIP, DISS, NISS, ACCS, SPOT and APACS.
