Investigator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Investigator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares an investigative plan for each assigned case in conjunction with an attorney;
- Uses spreadsheets to compile information and analyze data;
- May appear as a witness in administrative, civil, or criminal proceedings;
- Gathers and reviews evidence, orders court files, obtains insurance files, and issues subpoenas for bank and other business records;
- Interacts and cooperates with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies;
- Drafts a report that discusses the evidence and determines which exhibits, list of witnesses, and documents to include;
- Conduct analysis on large, complex data sets to detect and investigate anomalies, develop actionable insights and strategies;
- Work independently to detect, investigate, and understand new and emerging cybercrime attack vectors;
- Partner with DCU attorneys to develop legal strategies to disrupt and impact online criminal networks;
- Identify and analyze data sources to uncover cybercrime patterns and trends targeting our services and customers;
- Develop investigative and mitigation processes to address new and existing threats.

- Demonstrated experience in operations against threats to corporate and/or consumer information systems and services;
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required;
- Knowledge of medical claims processing and investigations;
