Being an Energy Management Manager may research alternative/renewable energy technologies and determine their feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Prepares annual budgets associated with conservation programs. In addition, Energy Management Manager requires a bachelor’s degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Our company is looking for a Energy Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ad hoc Reporting in response to client specific requests, including sustainability analysis, energy trend analysis and procurement reporting;
  • Mentoring, training and supervising a team of three to six analysts;
  • Preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and settlements;
  • Special Projects which may include metering, utility system analysis and property utility allocation analysis;
  • Monitoring and analyzing departmental workflows to develop efficiencies while maintaining a high level of accuracy;
  • Ensure the satisfaction of all clients and their tenants by providing a superior level of service.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management, project management and follow through skills;
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Energy, Engineering, Computer Science or similar analytical discipline, preferred;
  • 3– 5 years of supervisory experience;
  • Ability to compile and consolidate multiple analyses into client level consolidated reports;
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interface with all levels within our clients’ organizations;
  • Previous related work experience with knowledge of energy calculations, sustainability concepts or commercial real estate experience preferred.
