Experienced Leasing Consultant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors (residents, future residents and internal team members);
- Prepare service requests;
- Prepare move-in / move-out notices, inspections or procedures;
- Prepare refreshments;
- Prepare and submit application materials for approval;
- Follow up with prospects after viewing homes or submitting applications;
- Prepare leasing documents;
- Plans and coordinates events;
- Answer inquiries by phone and email;
- Maintain prospect traffic and leasing data, and assist with other computer data entry as necessary;
- Assist with planning and hosting of resident functions;
- Inspect units for move-ins to ensure units are ready;
- Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and that of major competition;
- Accurately prepare and have a thorough knowledge of all lease-related paperwork;
- Deliver new resident gifts and move in packets.
Requirements:
- Office skills: customer service, typing, clerical, computer, telephone;
- Best candidates are friendly, outgoing and display a positive, upbeat attitude;
- Must have minimum 1 year customer service and/or sales experience;
- Self-motivated individuals who are excellent multi-taskers and HIGHLY reliable excel in this role;
- Ability to be prompt and on time every day;
- Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision;
- Professional Appearance;
- High school education;
- Bilingual language skills is a plus;
- PLUS: HUD, Section 8, tax credit experience;
- MUST: 2+ years’ customer service and/or sales experience;
