Our company is looking for a Financial Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support detailed DSNP administrative cost builds for annual CMS submission;
  • Lead preparation of new business opportunity analysis materials;
  • Work, with limited oversight, on analyzing and solving complex issues;
  • Review RFPs to isolate, summarize and interpret standard key financial elements important to the UnitedHealthcare Community & State business;
  • Ad Hoc analyses. Support/lead processes adjacent/related to BD Finance (e.g. feed growth opportunity benefits/IOI into Capital investment process);
  • Serve as a resource to others. Share process knowledge with the team and support developing ‘best in class’ processes;
  • Provide financial leadership to the RVP, DistrictManagers and Region Managers in developing robust, accurate revenue and expenseforecasts;
  • Collaborate with Sales Systems team to optimizesystems tools and reporting;
  • Strategic and financial partner for the RegionalVice President (RVP), District Managers and Region Managers;
  • Responsible for ensuring appropriate accountingcontrols (expense and revenue) and pricing policies are maintained andoperating as expected;
  • Lead regional annual operating plan process;
  • Achieve and exceed both individual and branch related sales and revenue goals as defined on a quarterly basis;
  • Provide active mentoring and coaching to all Licensed Bank Employees (LBEs) assigned within your branch territory;
  • Attend and actively participate in sales meetings, training initiatives, and planning sessions related to the development and growth of the program;
  • Conduct effective client portfolio reviews and propose value-added solutions to client needs.

Requirements:

  • Model automation / technical expertise (VBA, web forms, text files);
  • Health insurance experience with knowledge of Medicaid products/benefits;
  • Possess a background in the healthcare Industry; general knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and/or Commercial health plans;
  • Experience working for a large company;
  • Experience working cross-functionally;
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of Hyperion Essbase / SmartView;
  • Have RFP process experience;
  • Be comfortable with changing priorities and an environment of organizational change;
  • Strong Excel skills: data analysis and report generation (formulas, calculations, pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc.);
  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis and working with large data sets required; background of collecting data using different sources;
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision;
  • Be familiar with UnitedHealthcare segments/products;
  • Self-motivated to prioritize work on multiple complex assignments;
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
